April-July 2007 Schedule (School Term 2).

Fridays Mysore Style with Stephanie, 11:15am-1:15pm.
Saturday Mysore Style with Stephanie, 9am-11am.
Sunday Led 1/2 Primary with Jenny, 9am-10:30am.

All classes suitable for all levels.

The Mysore style class is self-directed with the teacher working with individual students as needed. Beginner students are welcome. Don't be shy!

The led class is talked thru with the students practicing in unison through the first part of the primary series. Beginner and more advanced students are welcome.

In Auckland John Scott will be giving a workshop at the Auckland Yoga Academy over the weekend of May 25th—27th.
All classes are presented through the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa, each class will be a combination of Technique, Theory and application. It is advised that students attend all 5 classes as each class is an accumulative follow on from the beginning Night. Suitable for all levels including beginners who practice up to Navasana.

COST: $200.00 Half deposit on registration.
No refunds after May 20

Jenny has been studying Ashtanga yoga for 10 years, and studied Iyengar yoga for 7 years prior to that. She went to Mysore, India in 1999 to study with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and has done numerous Ashtanga yoga workshops with Sharath Rangaswamy, Peter Sanson, Dena Kinsberg, Lino Meile and John Scott over the years.


Stephanie has been practicing various styles of yoga for 10 years, the last four of which have been dedicated to daily Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. In 2004 Stephanie and her family traveled to India for 3 months where she studied with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (Guruji) and his grandson, Sharath. In 2006 she traveled to San Francisco to practice with Guruji on the US tour, and also attended Sharath’s workshop in Auckland in early December. Stephanie is also sincerely grateful for the opportunities she has had to practice with New Zealand senior teacher, Peter Sanson, as well as the teachers at the Auckland Yoga Academy. She has been teaching Ashtanga for the past 3 years and has completed the Yoga Alliance 500 hour teacher training course in Ashtanga at the Auckland Yoga Academy under Peter Nilsson and Jude Hynes.

Suitable for All levels.

If new to the studio please arrive a few minutes early to register. There are mats and blankets available for use but you are encouraged to bring your own if possible. Please do not eat for at least 2 hours prior to attending class and bring a small hand towel.
